Hometown: West Grove, PA

Favorite part of PRSSA: The experience one can gain outside of the classroom- it’s one thing to learn from a lecture or textbook, but learning from professionals in almost every field of public relations adds so much more.

What’s one activity you like to do with friends and one activity you like to do alone? One activity I like to do with friends is go to the movies. I’m a huge horror movie junkie, so every time a new horror movie comes out, we’ll all go see it together. Activities I like to do alone include a lot of Netflix and reading. I generally read sci-fi or fantasy novels, but recently I’ve been on a big Beat Generation kick, so I’ve been reading a lot of Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and William S. Burroughs.

A favorite quote: “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who matter don’t mind, and those that mind don’t matter” – Dr. Seuss

Your favorite restaurant in Philadelphia? I love Reading Terminal Market. Every time I go, I try something new. I recommend DiNic’s roast pork sandwich, Hershel’s East Side Deli Market’s Reuben or anything from Termini Bros.

What’s something you would like to accomplish before graduating? I really want to start a nice, proper blog and maintain it for the remainder of my time here.

Dream travel destination? Tokyo, Japan. However, I would need to save up for years and years to have as much spending money as I’d want to have.

Where do you see yourself in ten years? Working in non-profit or tourism PR in a major east coast city like Philly, New York or Boston. I also think it would be really amazing to move down to Orlando and do tourism and hospitality PR with the Walt Disney World Company.
